All About Allyson

I have been a professional singer since I was 4-years old.  During my career I have recorded and appeared on stage, in clubs, and on television.  From the age of 8 until I was 19, I was under contract to MGM.  I have performed at, among other places, the Waldorf-Astoria, Plaza Hotel and Hotel Pierre and done concerts at Carnegie Hall. I have sung standards, jazz, blues and even opera.  I have taught singing since 1983. 

Whether you are a professional or a beginner, I will teach you to sing to the best of your ability.  With no gimmicks or tricks, I will show you how to safely strengthen your voice and expand your range.  I have developed practical performance techniques which I will share with you. I believe that a beautiful voice is not enough. I will teach you the correct way to sing and I will also teach you how to perform.

And when you are ready, I will get you started in the crazy, wonderful, amazing  business I've been in all my life!
